On October 28, 2025, Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica as a catastrophic Category 5 storm, causing unprecedented destruction across the island. Homes and roofs have been ripped off, roads flooded or blocked by debris, power and communications knocked out island-wide, and families displaced in urgent need of food, shelter, and clean water. We are hosting a cookie sale until November 11, 2025 to raise funds, and 30% of all proceeds will be donated to American Friends of Jamaica (AFJ) — specifically into their Disaster Relief Fund for Hurricane Melissa. AFJ is coordinating directly with trusted local partners in Jamaica to get aid where it is most needed.
