Our menu is creatively crafted with quality ingredients — healthy oils, and mostly organic, no preservatives, no artificial colors, and no artificial flavors. Everything is baked on PFAS/PFOA/PTFE-free bakeware, keeping everything as healthy as possible in more ways than one.

Meet the Founder/Baker
“Hello, my name is Karen. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve had a love for cooking & baking. I founded Ke Ai Café based on a long-time desire of one day having my own café/restaurant. Catering is a small leap in the right direction. I’ve been testing and tweaking my recipes for a while to perfect them. The flavors you’ll encounter stem from my roots, and love of Chinese culture, which is why I named it 可愛 (spelled ‘ke ai’), meaning “loveable” or “cute” in Chinese. As you can see, I like to dress up in whimsical fashion in my spare time. Being “extra” is a part of who I am, and there’s no exception when it comes to my food. The secret not-so-secret ingredient is love, as cheesy as that sounds — I hope each bite feels like a warm hug on a chilly day! ♥
We (Ke Ai Café / Karen) have a one-person operation. I do all of the baking, decorating, packaging, communicating, and selling at events. My partner also assists with transporting/setup at events 🙂
